This Valhal Outdoor pan is a poultry pan, also known as a chicken holder. Actually, poultry pan is a better name, because you can use it for more than just chicken. Why use a poultry pan? The Valhal Outdoor poultry pan has a special holder for spices and/or cooking liquids that you want to infuse into the poultry. It also has a rim to catch the delicious juices, allowing you to make gravy or prepare side dishes like potatoes at the same time. By cooking the poultry upright, it cooks evenly and develops a crispy crust. This chicken holder is made entirely of cast iron, which offers many advantages. Cast iron can withstand high temperatures and retains heat well. You can use cast iron on all heat sources, both indoors and outdoors. Moreover, cast iron improves with use. If you take good care of your cast iron pan, you'll enjoy it for a lifetime. Cast iron pans can be seasoned again and again, making them look like new. All Valhal Outdoor cast iron products are factory-seasoned with natural oil. So you can get started with your new pan right away, but for best results, we recommend seasoning the cast iron a few more times. Tip!
